Massive Hack Attack

There is a massive hack attack going on at the moment - started in the early hours of the morning. I have tightened the system and set in place some automatic banning processes which are slowly catching up with the hacking attempts one at a time. It will mean the server is going slow for a while but should be back on top of things within the hour :-)

[update: so far banned over 200 sources of attack, still going]

[update: after hunting around I found invaluable scripts and packages which will automatically ban hackers attempting to do unauthorized things on the server... sorted!]
